Inspiration for pairing

The shop

My shop will be continuously refilled with new prints from the ever-changing seasons up here in the nordic nature. At the moment I offer open edition prints, limited edition prints will come in the future. Have a look at my current collection below and feel free to ask me any question that may arise.

About my images

Most of my photos are taken in the local area close to where I live or close to where I grew up, meaning the majority of the shots are taken in Sweden or Finland. I don’t manipulate my photos in any way other than enhancing colors. I like to show the raw nature without manipulations so all photos you see from me are real photographs.

Printing

Paper and quality

The paper I use for open edition prints is called Studio Enhanced and comes from the German paper manufacturing company Hahnemühle. It is made of 100% cellulose and has a matte, smooth surface with a slight texture. It has a surface weight of 210 grams and it has a natural white tone. The paper provides fine details and really great colors for photographs. It feels good to say that it will last for a lifetime without losing it’s details, I will always choose quality when it comes to paper choice.

Behind the scenes

I use a local printstudio for all my artwork, I couldn’t be any happier that I found a printstudio this close to where I live. I always go through a print-proofing process on the prints I sell to make sure that everything comes out exactly the way I want on paper. With the studio this close I can do the proofing process in person without having to send prints back and forth, it saves me a ton of time and it’s better for the environment, win-win. I’m 100% sure that this is the best choice for my artwork after seeing the quality and the process with my own eyes.

Made for easy framing

All my prints come with a 25mm or 50mm white border (depending on size), which makes the artwork really stand out and it allows you to frame the print easily. The white border may be more than 25mm or 50mm on one side, depending on how the photo is cropped. I crop all my photos according to what I think looks best and that means it won’t always be cropped in the same aspect ratio as the paper size.

My standard print sizes are:

  • 30x40 cm | 25 mm white border

  • 40x50 cm | 50 mm white border

  • 50x70 cm | 50 mm white border

  • 70X100 cm | 50 mm white border

*If you want your print mounted in a handmade wooden frame please contact me via email and I’ll help you. This would make it easy for you to hang the print straight on the wall. I intend to add that to my store later on but I want to test the shop before I add certain options.

Below you can see a few shots of how my art comes to life.
